Description:

This program will focus on the evolution of implant therapy and advancements in bone augmentation. Every year, companies bring new products and boast of advancements. The question becomes "When does one decide that a change is needed in their practice by investing in a new product?" Examples of changes in implant products and bone augmentation therapies will be examined. In the fi rst half of the presentation, changes in implant surfaces wand implant abutment connections will be discussed. The second half of the presentation will focus on bone augmentation factors and tissue engineering.
