DCEdental: the largest online dental CE directory in the world

Dr. Terry Tanaka has spent many years investigating and observing the anatomy of the masticatory system. His gross anatomy DVDs are some of the finest in the world. Dr. Tanaka
will share his insights regarding how certain anatomical features relate to the clinical signs and symptoms of TMD and orofacial pain disorders. His many years of practicing prosthodontics gives him great insight as to how understanding anatomy leads to better and more effective patient management.

The afternoon session will combine a series of presentations highlighting activities stemming from the research efforts of the faculty and residents in the University of Kentucky Orofacial Pain Center. There will be presentations on the sleep apnea appliances and TMD,
evaluating panoramic radiographs, hypnosis for the chronic pain and pain referral.
