Description:

The number of adults over the age of 65 is
expected to almost double in the next few
decades and the number over the age of 85 will
quadruple. The Baby boomer generation is reaching
65 at a time when people are now keeping
their teeth their whole lives. The new emerging
generation of "baby boomers with teeth" will
present many challenges and opportunities for
the dental profession.

This course will provide oral health professionals
with tools to assess the needs of older adults,
analyze their often complex medical, physical, and
social situations, and provide optimum treatment
for each individual.
