Description:

The initial report of Bisphosphonate-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (BRONJ) in 2003 has brought to light a problem that has crossed many disciplines. Since then, the numbers of cases has risen and is expected to continue to rise as people become aware of this entity. Recommendations are many, but because of the lack of well-controlled studies, there remains no treatment.

The focus of this discussion would be on a review of the current literature, the recommendations that exist, and the future prospects for studies that will hopefully help us treat our patients who suffer from this debilitating disease.

This program is offered and sponsored by the Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and includes a continental breakfast. (Sorry, a complimentary lunch ticket is NOT included with this course.)
