Description:
Treating children today requires a new approach for behavioral guidance. Children are being raised with little discipline and few limitations. Aversive techniques are no longer acceptable and parents often intervene, directing our treatment. This lecture discusses management techniques for both our patients and their families. Potential problems are identified with specific recommendations that can result in more successful and less stressful visits.
This program is recommended by the WDA Dental Home Initiative Subcommittee.
