Dental CE Course: Bioceramic Technology - Advanced Instrumentation and Bonded Obturation

Bioceramic technology has finally come to Endodontics and, in fact, a new day has dawned. There are many advantages in endodontics associated with bioceramics and these are principally a result of their physical properties. Bioceramics are exceedingly biocompatible, non-toxic, anti-bacterial, do not shrink and are chemically stable within the biological environment. Furthermore, and this is very important in endodontics, bioceramic sealers will not result in an inflammatory response if an over fill occurs during the obturation process. A further advantage of the material itself is its ability to form hydroxyapatite and to create a bond between dentin and the appropriate filling material. This course specifically demonstrates how a clinician (Dr Nasseh) combines an advanced instrumentation technique, utilizing the EndoSequence system, with a bonded obturation method.
