Description:
Building on knowledge you’ve gained from the Advanced Proficiency Posterior and Anterior CEREC® courses from the Scottsdale Center, this program is designed to provide you with the clinical education to confidently and predictably use CEREC® technology. You will gain wide experience from treating your own case as well as observing numerous anterior and posterior CEREC® cases on live patients in a world class clinical environment complete with CEREC® units and fully functional operatories, under supervision from CEREC® experts. All clinical cases will be documented for review at the end of the course and will enhance the educational opportunity.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn photographic techniques to not only document your cases for presentations for patients, but also to document cases for insurance reimbursement.
This course is divided into two sessions, one with a posterior focus and one with anterior. You choose in advance which session you wish to join and chose your patient accordingly. Click here for important Patient Requirement Information for the course (Anterior Session, Posterior Session). The sessions run concurrently so attendees in each session have ample opportunity to observe both anterior and posterior cases.
Attendance at this program is limited to maximize the learning experience.
*Please note that the Posterior and Anterior Proficiency courses (or their equivalent) are prerequisites for the Live Patient Experience.
At the completion of this program, you will be able to:
Master live patient treatment utilizing CEREC® technology
Understand the clinical rationale for when the CEREC® is appropriate for anterior and posterior use
Prep, design and mill actual CEREC® cases on a live patient
Use stain and glaze techniques to match existing dentition in a clinical environment for optimal esthetics
Master cementation techniques for ease and simplicity on an actual patient under expert supervision
Simplify treatment plans for appropriate CEREC® dentistry
Distinguish which materials are appropriate for each clinical situation
Have the option to perform a multi unit CEREC® case in the posterior region
Have the option to perform a multiple unit anterior CEREC® case
Maximize efficiency and time by incorporating time saving real world clinical techniques
Employ time saving techniques for rapid anesthesia, fast designs and easy cementations
Master powdering a live case as well as proper image taking
Program Dates
Nov 20-22, 2008
