Today's CEREC technology is a tool for much more than simple inlays and onlays. Properly used, CEREC will produce highly esthetic posterior restorations with nearly perfect occlusion and contacts whether you are treating a single tooth or complete quadrant.

In this advanced course, you will learn techniques for prepping, designing, and bonding posterior CEREC restorations efficiently and predictably. You will also learn how to esthetically stain and glaze posterior restorations to rival lab results. You will lean practice management techniques for case presentation and integration that will make CEREC a more profitable part of your everyday practice of dentistry.

Syllabus:
At the completion of this program, you should be able to:
  • Understand proper preparation requirements for all creamic restorations
  • Predictably treat multiple units with perfect occlusion and contacts
  • Complete 3 posterior restorations with ideal form, symmetry, and occlusion in under 90 minutes
  • Use adhesive techniques that make your life simple yet effective
  • Esthetically stain and glaze restorations to rival the esthetics of a laboratory
  • Use numerous quadrrant techniques such as the "Divide and Conquer", "Sarmen", and "Virtual Seat"
  • Understand the advantage and disadvantages of each of these techniques
  • Predictably stitch models to avoid manual correlation
  • Understand the importance of the "Red Box"
  • Understand the advantages and disadvantages of the image catalog and the 3D preview model
  • Master the use of Database and Correlation design modes for optimum efficiency and esthetics
  • Present CEREC restorations to optimize case acceptance
  • Integrate CEREC into your everyday practice of dentistry
