DCEdental: the largest online dental CE directory in the world

This course is designed to provide dental assistants -- who have a minimum of six months' chairside dental assisting experience -- with the knowledge and skills they need to perform expanded duty dental assisting functions as specified by Louisiana law. Individuals registering for this course must have graduated from an accredited high school or have a graduate equivalency diploma (GED). Hands-on exercises will be performed in the laboratory to reinforce the didactic material presented in the lectures. Each participant will be given and must pass a post-course examination to determine his or her qualifications. Sign-in each day is at 7:30 a.m.  The course work begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends no later than 5:00 p.m. The course is held at LSU School of Dentistry, 1100 Florida Ave., in New Orleans. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided each day. Because the temperature may vary from one location to another during the course, attendees are strongly encouraged to bring a sweater or jacket.
