Description:

This course will focus on the latest trends in implant prosthodontics including single tooth replacement, fixed prostheses for partially edentulous patients and treatment of the edentulous arch. A summary of the latest trends in implant restoration regarding abutment/implant connection and abutment options will be presented. Dr. Rodriguez will also discuss the advantages of and technique for implant provisionalization and how this can be influenced by abutment selection.

Achieving greater esthetic results in the maxillary anterior region will be emphasized. Other topics of discussion will include maintenance of bone and soft tissue for long term health, proper fixture placement for optimum esthetics, stent fabrication, impression technique and lab communication, non-invasive surgical techniques and the interrelationship between proper surgical technique and restorative success.

Following the lecture a hands on session will be available where abutment options as well as the components for impression making will be explored.

Tuition increases by $20 per person when registering after May 15.
