Develop specific regimens for the prevention and management of pain, inflammation, and infection associated with dental care. 3. Identify contraindications for selected drug classes and discuss potential interactions with drugs that are commonly prescribed for medical indications.

Course Description:
This seminar will highlight essential principles of pharmacokinetics and dynamics that provide a scientific basis for rational drug selection to manage pain and infection. Attention is given to specific drug contraindications and potential interactions with common medically prescribed drugs.
