Achieving True Restoratively Driven Implant Dentistry Through CT/CBCT & Interactive Treatment Planning with Simplant®

It is widely recognized that implant dentistry has been greatly impacted by innovations in three dimensional CT scan imaging technology and three dimensional treatment planning software. Recently, the introduction of Cone Beam CT technology has allowed for clinicians worldwide to place this technology within the walls in their offices and become more flexible when treatment planning cases. This course is designed for clinicians who are investigating the opportunity of implementing both a CBCT machine and treatment planning software. Two innovative offerings will be reviewed, SimPlant® three dimensional treatment planning software, and the Next Generation i-CAT®.

Course Objectives

-Participants will understand the value of CBCT technology
-Participants will learn how these state of the art technologies can improve diagnosis and treatment planning for implants, oral surgery, periodontal procedures, and orthodontics.
-Participants will learn how to use the Triangle of Bone® Concept to maximize diagnosis and treatment planning for dental implants.
-Introduction to, and Hands-on application of interactive 3D treatment planning software (SIMPlant)
-Participants will understand the process involved with using CBCT with SIMPlant
-Participants will gain a basic understanding of how to use the software tools to plan cases, and create surgical template for guided surgical procedures.
-Participants will learn how to manage the everyday workflow of having a CBCT scan machine in the office environment as well as marketing concepts.

(Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops to follow along with the SimPlant® software application.)
