The bimaxillary protrusion case has very special treatment considerations that do not proceed the way that other cases do. Protrusion correction is one of the most tricky and under-estimated jobs of orthodontics. All races have cases where these principles can be applied. Retention of lower inter-canine width is studied with the canine retention with “La” brackets on the lower 3s, and even canine retention corticotomy.
