Dental CE Course: Bioesthetic Diagnosis(LevelI)

This course teaches the fundamental techniques for making an accurate assessment of ANY human dentognathic system. Nature’s optimal biologic model provides the template for jaw position, tooth guidance and dental anatomy. This interactive course readies the dental team for the groundwork necessary to deliver Bioesthetic Dentistry.

Session 1: Clinical Diagnosis of Esthetics & Functions of the Dental System
This is a three–day hands-on demonstration and participation workshop on basic procedures for three-dimensional dynamic study of the teeth and TM joints using state-of-the-art instrumentation. The dentists, technicians and their auxiliaries learn how to develop dental practices that emphasize comprehensive diagnosis before treating the patient.
Session 2: TMJ Stabilization in Centric Relation with a Maxillary Anterior Guided Orthosis (MAGO) & Coronoplasty (tooth reshaping)
This three –day course will be a demonstration and participation workshop focusing on the design, fit and adjustments of the MAGO. This specially made appliance is necessary to seat the condyles in the glenoid fossae. Using the MAGO, you will be applying optimal health bioesthetic principles in a reversible way to a stomatognathic system. The MAGO process provides the differential diagnosis as to the cause of dental, TMJ, head and neck pain prior to irreversible treatment. “Coronoplasty” involves selective reshaping of tooth surfaces to make them functionally more efficient and reduce loading as well as removing harmful occlusal contacts and improving esthetics. This course is designed for all dentists, including specialists, and laboratory technicians.
