Dental CE Course: Bioesthetic Treatment (Level III)

This course is the basic clinical application for bioesthetic dentistry. This "hands-on, how to" course trains the dentist & technician to use the knowledge gained in Levels I & II to offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment to selected patients.

Dentists with lab technicians are guided through actual bioesthetic treatment. When an unbalanced relationship exists between the teeth and jaw joints, it leads to a malocclusion. The muscles must strain to fit teeth together which causes various degrees of facial deformity. Utilizing bioesthetic principles, trained practitioners can establish a "physiologic (healthy) vertical dimension" of the face. This proces often results in a dentoskeletal facelift.

The training protocol utilizes an interactive diagnostic and treatment process which is shared with fellow dentists, classmates and laboratory technicians. Thereby, every dentist experiences each case as if it were his or her own. This discipline coordinates and prioritizes all restorative procedures and referral to any other required specialty treatment including orthodontics and orognathic surgery.

Bioesthetic Treatment(Level III) is currently presented in four sessions: one 3-day session and three 2-day sessions.
