Course 1: Current topics in Periodontics. How to respond to your patients' questions about periodontal surgical therapy, periodontal disease risk, and their potential interest in receiving treatment for gingival recession.
Course 2: What's New in the World of: Prevention, Remineralization, and Identification and Treatment of Malodor? Course topics will include: remineralization before restoration, fluoride therapies for the dental office and home, fluoride varnish, amphorous calcium phosphate, xylitol, treatment strategies for xerostomia, and malodor prevention and remedies.
Course 3: Soda Pop is Not the Sunshine of Your Smile. This course will review: the history and facts of soda pop, the overall health and oral health implications of drinking soda pop, dental erosion, chemical erosion, attrition, abfraction, clinically recognizing the signs of soda pop erosion, consumption of sports and diet drinks, the dental professional's role in making recommendations and possible solutions of soda pop machines in our schools.
