This course will discuss the philosophy of aesthetic concepts related to dentistry. Treatment planning cases utilizing ceramic options. Technical procedures, bonding techniques and maintenance of porcelain veneers, Cerec restorations, ceramic posts, zirconia abutments and zirconia crown and bridge on natural teeth and dental implants will be discussed in detail. The aesthetic zone will be explained in detail with respect to its biology and how to handle the tissue from a restorative point of view to get an ideal aesthetic result. Ceramics in the posterior dentition and its long term effect will also be talked about.
