Dental CE Course: DALS (Dental Advanced Life Support) 3-Day Course

2 Reviews

How do you prepare for an emergency you hope never takes place? Every day patients enter your office with diabetes, heart disease, asthma and other conditions which pose troubling threats. Our Dental Advanced Life Support course gives you the tools to meet the most common medical crises. You'll learn how to use a Cardiac Science AED; practice airway management; and review life-saving emergency medication. The course is specifically designed for dental offices as opposed to hospital code teams. You’ll gain the skills required to respond to respiratory failure, airway obstruction, cardiac problems, and anaphylaxis. Instructors are active emergency personnel with first-hand acquaintance of current practices. Using patient simulators, they'll offer practice on AEDS, emergency drug administration, and airway management. Included will be a variety of possible emergency scenarios you will learn to confront with equipment common to most dental offices.
