CBCT and implant planning software provide tremendous diagnostic and treatment planning tools. Working in a 3-D environment allows for the critical anatomy to be identified and implants to be placed in ideal positions from surgical and prosthetic perspectives. The digital plan can then be transferred to the clinical setting through the use of a surgical guide. In this interactive workshop, cases ranging from a single tooth to fully edentulous arches will be reviewed and virtually designed through group discussion.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, the dental professional should be able to:

- Identify critical anatomy including the mandibular canal, the sinuses and adjacent roots.
- Virtually place implants, taking into account the existing anatomy and the prosthetic objectives.
- Understand surgical guide options and procedures.
