Dental CE Course: Dispelling the “Csi Effect” Myth: an Overview of Contemporary Forensic Dentistry

Because of the current popularity of forensic fare in television, the general public is getting a skewed view of the true nature of forensic investigation ? commonly called the "CSI Effect." In this course, Drs. Cardoza and Wood will dispel this myth as it relates to forensic dentistry. This course is an overview of forensic dentistry. Topics will include forensic dental identification, pattern injuries as they relate to bite mark investigation, dental response in mass disasters, and potential dental responses in a bioterrorism incident.
