ECC is an aggressive oral infection of the primary dentition observed in children in their infant through preschool years. This course focuses the factors of ECC, the appropriate management of ECC as a sign of an illness that is multi-factorial (i.e. caregiver, social, cultural, developmental, nutritional, chronic illness and medication etc. as primary and secondary risk concerns).
