Course Objectives:

Enhance your confidence and understanding of when and how to use contemporary esthetic materials in your practice on both teeth and implants at each stage of treatment, eliminating confusion and improving your predictability, efficiency, and results

Participants Will Learn:

-The advantages and disadvantages of all the modern esthetic materials concerning esthetics, strength, indications and contraindications regarding their use on teeth and implants, in both single unit and multiple unit restorations
-Implant abutment material choices, fabrication options, and what to use for the final restoration with the different types of abutments
-Tooth preparation techniques, including a step-by-step approach and armamentarium using the different material options for partial-coverage bonded anterior restorations, (veneers) and full-coverage restorations, (crowns) in a variety of clinical situations, including discoloration, poor alignment, and no prep
-Impression options for teeth and implants, including material choices, retraction methods, and impression coping designs, in addition optical impressioning alternatives will be discussed
-Temporization techniques from single tooth, to full arch, for teeth and implants, with a special emphasis on the contour of anterior implant temporaries and their role in gingival margin position and papilla levels and form
-To understand the various dentin adhesive products on the market along with the indications and contraindications of each, with a special emphasis placed on predictability, ease of use, and a lack of sensitivity
-How to choose a cement for virtually any clinical situation, from temporary veneers, full crowns, inlays, onlays, or implant restorations, to final cementation of all the previous restorations, with special attention on how to remove temporarily cemented restorations
-Material selection and tooth preparation techniques for all the different posterior restorative possibilities, inlays, onlays, full crowns, veneer-lays, with a special emphasis on the preparation design for milled restorations
