Dr. Chartrand is an associate professor at the University of Montreal dental school, teaching laser dentistry to
undergraduate students and doctors for the Continuing Dental Education program. Dr. Chartrand maintains a full-time private practice in Longueuil, Quebec. He has enhanced his laser knowledge, experience and capabilities by implementing the most advanced technologies including performing routine and complex soft tissue surgical procedures in a virtually bloodless field. Having bought his first laser in 1990, he now owns and practices with several different kinds of lasers.
He has several published articles in national and international dental journals. Recognized as a renowned dental laser user, he is frequently invited as speaker to participate at numerous conferences and congresses nationally and internationally.

Synopsis: The new generation of therapeutic lasers have differentiated themselves in the dental field for their exceptional strength in conventional dentistry. The new generation of lasers are now available for cosmetic dentistry from minor cosmetic improvement such as crown lengthening to implantology.
