Dental CE Course: Mini Implant Course

Learning Objectives: This course contains the most state-of-the-art and current concepts being used in the reconstruction of the atrophic mandible and maxillae, and the management of small diameter edentulos spaces, with long term small diameter implants.

Additionally management of small edentulous spaces, post-orthodontically, lower central incisor regions, and management of the edentulous space for the adolescent will be reviewed with treatment protocols given. The techniques presented and demonstrated are the basis for LONG TERM SUCCESS in implant dentistry for the reconstruction of small edentulous spaces and atrophic ridges.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
? Easy flapless implant installation which is minimally invasive and tolerates divergent angles
? Dentures minimally reduced with a retentive periphery bead line which retains the reline without adhesives
? Utilize Tuf-link silicone based reline materials which maintains a stable replaceable form and superb retention without copings/o-rings
? Stress free cushioned denture placement
Without scrapes, sores, or lesions or post-operative tissue adjustments
? Understanding that a long lasting Tuf-Link reline can be replaced without any adjustment to the base in a 15-20 minute procedures (management of patients on the recall system)
? Anew Implant position and prosthetic design
Restoration of single, quadrant (mixed dentition) with screw retained restorations
? MTI construction of full arch restoration retained by strong cement during restorative interval
? Manage the hands-on restorative exercise made on models can be used for staff training and for patient demonstration
? Understand periodontal prosthetic principles related to esthetics with implant restorations
? Provisionalization with ANEW or MTI
? Long-term use in thin ridges, limited vertical spaces, or narrow root spaces
? Esthetics
? Surgical and prosthetic procedures related to ANEW, MTI and ATLAS
? Conversion and existing dentures for ATLAS supported restorations at the time of placement
