Dental CE Course: Moderate Sedation With Multiple Oral/ Parenteral Agents

The purpose of this course is to enable the participant to deliver safe and effective conscious sedation, with special emphasis on intravenous sedation. At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to select an appropriate sedative regimen for a given patient and use that regimen safely in the clinical setting. Through the use of proper patient evaluation and selection, monitoring, administration technique, and emergency management, the participant should be able to avoid most adverse responses to moderate sedation and respond effectively to those emergencies that may occur.
