Dental CE Course: Neuromuscular Instrumentation

The Neuromuscular Instrumentation Level II Course is designed for the clinician needing to acquire and develop the skills necessary to successfully implement daily use of the K6i or K7 diagnostic systems from Myotronics. And to learn the interpretation of the various scans used in everyday application.

The course of instruction will feature presentations on appliance insertion, Myofascial Release, Scan recording and interpretation, appliance design & EMG Construction Bite Registrations. Live demonstrations for bite registrations will be presented during the course.

This course is essential for all neuromuscular clinicians. As you begin to integrate the instrument into diagnosis and treatment it is important to learn the various bite registration techniques for occlusal and functional jaw disorders as well as advanced diagnostic analysis. Participants will gain skills in the construction and insertion of the various phase 1 appliances and the scan interpretations necessary to accomplish this end. Insertion protocols for phase 1 appliance delivery and adjustment techniques will be covered as will (ULF) TENS and cranial-facial manipulations including Myofascial Release techniques and stabilization through reconstruction. Topics include: application of basic scans and patient preparation for full-mouth rehabilitation, and for long-term stabilization using removable metal-composite ‘bite restorers’.
