Objectives
(1) To review and understand the influences of the nervous systems on craniofacial musculoskeletal biology.
(2) To discuss the roles of the nervous systems in the mechanisms and treatment of oral-facial diseases including orofacial pain and dysfunction and sleep apnea.
(3) To identify, prioritize, and discuss the challenges related to future research endeavors including clinical applications of neuromusculo-skeletal biology and development of clinical protocols to enable the optimum utilization of new knowledge.
