Dental CE Course: Oral Oncology/Oral Medicine Clerkship

This clerkship is designed as a one-week participation course centered around the activities of the Oral Medicine and Oral Oncology Clinics at the University of Florida Health Center. Activities include observation in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various benign entities of the oral cavity, as well as cancer and AI DS. Other available activities include hospital rounds and attendance at special Health Center Conferences. An audio-visual library containing a large volume of materials related to oral oncology — diagnosis — medicine and therapeutics will be available to the participant for self-paced study. The instructors will attempt to tailor the clerkship to meet the individual participant’s interests or needs. If desired, four hours of HIV/AIDS instruction may be completed during this week.
