Dental CE Course: OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen Update: Training Session for the Office

General potential mechanisms of disease transmission in the dental office will be discussed as well as specific infectious diseases of concern to the practicing dentist. OSHA standards as well as the updated standards (December, 2003) will be presented and discussed.
Participants will:
Understand the General Nature of Disease Progression and How it Applies to the Prevention of Disease Transmission in the Dental Office
Understand Specific Diseases and the Potential for Their Trans-mission in the Dental Office
Understand the Updated OSHA Recommendations and the Rationale for Those Recommendations
