Dental CE Course: Principles of Dental Public Health: The New Role of the Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner

This course will address some of the knowledge, core principles and competencies expected (at all levels of involvement) in public health practice. The focus will be on improving the oral health of the public.

Understand the Risks for Common Oral Problems in Various Populations
Identify the Means to Address Risks Through: Age Appropriate Dental Health Education and Promotion Programs and Dental Disease Prevention Programs
Identify Various Program Planning Models, Including the Dental Hygiene Program Planning Paradigm
