DCEdental Privacy Policy

DCEdental.com respects the privacy of its users. This policy explains the information DCEdental collects from its users and how it uses that information.

DCEdental does not collect any information that is not provided voluntarily by its users. Personal information provided may be used to inform users of specific dental continuing education activities, products, and services at their request. User inquiries requesting additional information on a specific continuing education activity, product, or service, or for several activities, products, or services may have their contact information shared with the provider of these services, per the user's request. The purpose of the Web site is to connect users with providers, according to the request of the user. Any requests not to share user information in such queries will be strictly heeded. Users who wish to discontinue receiving information such as eNewsletters, ePromotions, etc., may contact the company to remove their names from the information distribution list.

Portions of the Web site can be accessed without providing any user information. Portions that require user information to be submitted are voluntary and clearly disclosed.

Information submitted to the Web site, particularly user reviews of activities, products, and services, requires a valid email address (to reduce nefarious posts from automated systems) and name. However, the email address and name remain anonymous on the live site for each posting — initials only are used.

Web sites linked to or from DCEdental are responsible for their own privacy and security. DCEdental is not responsible for information and/or security procedures on other sites.

DCEdental provides information to dental professionals and those working in and/or are associated with the dental field in all its forms. Users must be over the age of 18. Users under age 18 may only access the site with a parent. If parents discover their child has provided information to DCEdental, they can contact the company to have that information immediately removed.

DCEdental makes every attempt to ensure the content, files, and information provided to and on the site contain correct information. We cannot guarantee, however, that these efforts will never come under attack. DCEdental will take immediate action to correct any attacks to the site.
