Dental CE Course: Safer Oral Surgery for the General Practitioner - Tips and Techniques

Continuing on from his morning session (which is NOT a pre-requisite for this course), Dr. Veaco will discuss the tips and techniques of safer oral surgery. Specific areas he will cover include:
Flaps
The physics of tooth removal
Proper instrumentation
Bone removal
Sectioning of teeth
Root tip removal
Dr. Veaco will also address how to avoid disasters such as hemorrhaging, infection, poor healing, nerve damage, a displaced tooth, jaw fracture, and how to avoid painful or prolonged experiences. He'll also go over common complications - some of which are to be expected, some you can treat, and what you should refer. The program will conclude with a case study that covers a dental implant from start to finish.
