Dental CE Course: Strategies for Predictable for Predictable Implant Esthetics

This day course will educate and enhance your knowledge of implant dentistry. The goal is to update you on the current thoughts on various strategies associated with the surgical phase of implant dentistry. This course will provide new insights and orientation for auxillary members, laboratory technicians, and dentists who treatment plan and are involved with the restoration of dental implants. Additionally, those considering or are novice at surgical implant dentistry would find this course useful. The presentation will cover the following topics: * Identifying situations where implants are superior to other treatment options * Learning to analyze tissue biotypes where achieving ideal implant esthetics will be difficult and how to overcome these difficulties * Analyze clinical parameters to establish criteria for achieving esthetic implant end results * Understanding the restorative dentist role in implant dentistry: treatment planning, provisionalization, and restoration * Review various strategies for increasing bone volume in implant site preparation: ridge augmentation, sinus grafting, and the use of biological mediators * Strategies for implant success: platform switching, soft tissue augmentation, latest strategies in simultaneous soft-hard tissue grafting.
