Dental CE Course: Teen Sedation Dentistry

This one-day course permits general dentists to expand their sedation treatment options to a largely untapped population--teenagers. Topics covered include pharmacology, physiology, case selection, and who NOT to treat. Faculty instill four protocols developed especially for patients aged 13 to 18. Also addressed is emergency preparedness. Sedation care for teenagers does not generally require new equipment or materials and general dentists can usually provide this service within existing office settings.
