Dental CE Course: The Mouth/Body Connection

This course covers the oral manifestations of systemic disease affecting the oral cavity, where more than 200 systemic diseases have their primary manifestations. Other systemic diseases have secondary oral signs and symptoms. The course will demonstrate the various systemic diseases ranging from cardiovascular disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, psychatric disorders, etc. The manifestations demonstrated cover the primary systemic disease and the medical treatment and drugs used to treat the disease. Each topic covered will present the most common systemic disease entities encountered in the general dental practice.
