This Tour runs late June, and finishes at the beginning of July, which gives our USA friends time to get back home for their 4th of July celebrations, It is also timed to beat the beginning of the Alps holiday season. This ensures that the roads and passes are not too busy and the weather is relatively settled with warmer temperatures.
Based on our own experience of touring in the Alps, we have found that this "Just Right" timeframe maximizes the fun and enjoyment of the Alps touring experience without hoards of European holiday makers getting in the way!
The Tour has been designed with couples in mind, to be a social and fun motorcycle tour whilst offering the return and new Alp’s riders some of the best, wonderful passes and scenic alpine views found anywhere in the world.
Most importantly, it is still a super safe area to travel by motorcycle, with great surfaced roads, great food, and fantastic people, the Alp’s will get under your skin! There is no doubt in our minds.
We have added lots of double over nighters’ and extra days on this tour, compared with the most other commonly offered Alp’s tours.
We know that for people travelling to Europe that 12 or 13 day trips were just not quite long enough and through past experience we know that 21 days riding in the Alps was just that little bit too much, with fatigue taking the fun out of the last few days.
So then after a lot of discussion we have come up with 16 night hotel stays, and 15 motorcycling days, starting and finishing in Munich, we feel this will be perfect time structure for our Learning Curves Alps Tour.
Included
All breakfasts, 11 dinners and pre dinner snacks in Salzburg overlooking the old city. Luggage and back up van, with bags delivered to each room every evening, tour book, maps and info, pick up’s from , and delivery to Munich Airport, or as required. 15 days use of late model BMW's and of course the luggage/backup van. If this tour is fully booked, there will be two guides on two motorcycles.
You would need to organize your airfares, travel insurance, international drivers license, passports, special medicines and your riding gear.
