Dental CE Course: UNC Orthodontic Mini-Residency

All the teaching is done in a relaxed, interactive seminar setting. A wide range of orthodontic topics will be covered, heavily clinical in nature, including, but not limited to:
• Recent advances in techniques and technology to enhance everyday practice
• Current diagnostic and treatment planning approaches using computer technology and the new “soft tissue paradigm”
• Management of inter-disciplinary patients in clinical practice
• Effective use of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) to achieve a wide range of orthodontic goals
• The use of 3-D imaging to advance your practice: diagnosis, indications, treatment planning and hands-on experience
• Indications for orthognathic surgery in an increasingly difficult setting for this treatment option

Loved the cruise and CE course at sea! Our staff had a great time and we came back with a close knit team. So I'd tell folks to take a CE cruise and build a better dental team! - Dr. Cliff Pernell, Newton, NC

I've only done one UNC continued ed course, but it was very worth my while. I had a great experience.
