Dental CE Course: Is 3-D Cone Beam CT Becoming the New Standard of Care? Making Implant Dentistry Safer and More Predictable Utilizing CBCT

Course Synopsis

As a result of the significant diagnostic and clinical benefits provided by 3-D CBCT imaging systems, their integration into both specialty and general practices is growing at a strong pace. Due to this growth, access to CBCT systems and the advantages provided by high-quality 3-D and MPR images, some experts believe the use of these images is considered to be the "standard of care," especially in implant and other surgical cases. Cone-beam systems allow clinicians to diagnose any part of the oral anatomy from any angle or direction and with greater precision than traditional X-rays. Use of 3-D CBCT systems and images can provide important clinical and practice-building benefits to all treatment aspects of the general practice.
